Isomer Tag Forum #3 (Common heteroatoms, O and N)
Choose a chemical formula containing carbon and hydrogen atoms and either a nitrogen or oxygen atom that would have at least four reasonable isomers.
Check the forum posts to make sure you do not repeat a formula that has already been used (Include the chemical formula you choose in the title of your post). Feel free to intro
unsaturation so that multiple bonds, rings, or both are possible in the variety of isomers.
Draw one isomer for your formula and post it (and it's name) in the forum. For the first post make sure to have the formula and your drawing of one isomer in the post.
Reply to three of your classmates posts. In your reply draw a different isomer for the chemical formula provided in the initial post. Try not to come back into a thread you already
participated in (choose a different formula thread for each of your three replies and don't go back to the thread you started).
There is no limit to replies to an individual post, as long as all replies represent unique isomers.
