Diodes only conduct current when connected with the proper polarity. Suppose you connect the circuit called for in this experiment, but when you turn the power on, you find that none of the diodes glow. Assume plenty of power is available: does this mean that all of the diodes must be connected with the wrong polarity? Why or why not? Suppose only the last LED (the last LED that would normally receive current) is connected with the wrong polarity: will some glow, all glow, or none of them glow?
