Often, when we consider laboratory safety, we are only thinking of ourselves, or maybe thinking of the other people that are also in the laboratory.

We need to make sure other people also in the laboratory with us are safe, and we need to make sure that anybody entering the laboratory, the laboratory after us will be safe.

One of them would be cleaning up your workstation so that if anything is left out, nobody will happen upon it or not know what to do with it.
