00:13 We will apply this to find the highest occupied molecular orbital, that's h -o -m -o, for the heteronuclear diatomic molecule, oxygen, monofluorite, which contains one oxygen and one fluorine atoms.
00:26 We note that oxygen having six, having eight electrons, has the following electron configuration.
00:35 And for fluorine that has nine electrons has the following electron configuration.
00:42 We will distribute this in their respective atomic orbitals.
00:48 So for this section here, we have the o and this is for fluorine.
00:53 So for 1s of oxygen, we have two electrons.
00:58 That's because 1s2.
00:59 2s2 means two electrons in 2s orbital.
01:03 And 2p4 for oxygen means we have 1, 2, 3, 4 electrons in 2 p.
01:12 We will also do the same for effluorine.
01:15 We have 1 2 because that's 1s2...
