Why do electrolytes have a greater impact on colligative properties than non-electrolytes? Select one or more: Electrolytes increase the freezing point depression or boiling point elevation constants of a given solvent. Electrolytes dissociate when dissolved, making the van't Hoff factor 2 or greater. Electrolytes have a higher molecular weight than non-electrolytes, resulting in increased effects.
