percentage (b)(i) Briefly explain what is dimensional variables. (1) The knowledge of Reynold number (R) tells, whether the flow of a liquid through a pipe will be streamlined or not. By the method of dimensions, find the expression for Reynold number, if it depends upon the velocity of flow of the liquid, density of the liquid, coefficient of viscosity of the liquid and diameter of the pipe. Given that R varies directly as the diameter of the pipe. Use the expression to calculate the average velocity of blood flow in an artery of radius 2 x 10?³m, if the flow must remain laminar. What is the corresponding flow rate?
