A single-phase power system is shown in Figure 1. The power source feeds a 100-kVA 14000/2400V transformer through a feeder impedance of ZL = 40 + j150 Ω. The transformer's equivalent series impedance referred to its low-voltage side is Zeq2 = 0.12 + j0.5 Ω. The load on the transformer is 90 kW at 0.85 PF lagging and Vs = 2200 V. Fig: 1. Network System 1) Calculate the voltage at the power source of the system. 2) Calculate the voltage regulation of the transformer. 3) Calculate the efficiency of the system at rated conditions in%.
